Killarney Cycle the Ring of Kerry



On Saturday 2nd of July over 5,000 Cyclist's traveled 180KM on the Ring of Kerry. It started and ended in Killarney and is an annual event and a great way to see the scenery in Kerry.

Many Cyclist's stayed in the Lake Hotel its an ideal base, for Bike storage and accessibility to the ring of Kerry.

The Green Monks in Killarney


The Green Monks have returned to the Lake Hotel each year for over 40 years now. Climbing Ireland's highest Mountains some members are over 80 years Old.

This week Mr Billy Cooke climbed Ireland's highest mountain Carrauntuohil in his 80th year !

What an achievement !
